This is what was going on around our house…
The Flag Pole is right at the Front edge of our Property..
The Phone rings…
“I see some smoke by your house..
Is the fire close to you guys..”
“No…Don’t think so…”
I guess I was looking out the wrong windows…And not to mention very involved in my project…
AHHH!! but wait is that Planes I hear…Hmmmm I better go check this out…Maybe go outside and look around…
Well what do you know…There is a Fire close to our house…
The children came running out…and began WILDLY waiving at the Planes that were flying overhead…
4 Planes total and 1 Fire Helicopter…
(they don’t mess around with Fire in these Parts..)
You could hear the Fire Engines roaring around over the hill…
They stamped it out and Saved the surrounding structures…
So Amazing…
Don’t you just LOVE our WONDERFUL
Firemen…???
I know I do…

That's so awesome! Thank goodness for them!
Glad you are ok!! The weather is so difficult everywhere…can't imagine the damage from a raging fire. Take care, and tell all we send our love~

That's great that they were right on top of it..literally! We haven't had problems with fires where I live, but some family and friends have had to deal with it. YAY for the firemen!!
Praise the Lord for the Firemen!! I'm so glad all of your are alright that was some excitement for sure! Great photos I love the one with the flag on the far right and the plane! We have had so many fires around here but since all of the rains it has cleared up. Thank you Lord for the rain and the Firemen! Blessing to you and your family sweetie! Hugs!!

Thank goodness it was dealt with promptly… house fires and barn fires are our main type of blaze over here…. we sometimes get fires on the moors in Devon or further up north… but as a rule its too wet over here in England for the land to catch fire… lol
so far we are staying safe in the wet, damp drearyness of and English Summer! ;D
fabulous photos… xx
Oh, glad they got that fire out!!
Blessings!
