Okay I don’t think it’s any Secret that I am a HUGE Riley Blake Fan!!!
So when I was asked to Sew for Designer Emily Taylor I answered with an emphatic…
YES!!!!
Emily has a Brand New Fabric Line coming out that is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Cutting into fabric is something I do on a DAILY basis… But when you are given a Brand New Fabric that hasn’t hit the Shelves yet…Well lets just say I was a bit on the nervous side… I told Emily that I stared at the Fabric for almost 20 minutes before I cut into it… I was so SCARED!!!!
It’s not like I could just run down to the store and pick up some more if I needed it or if I made a mistake and CUT wrong… YIKES!!!!
Well needless to say I made my FIRST cuts and got to Sewing…
I was VERY excited at this point…
And this is what Popped out of my Sewing Machine..

Making it was a lot of fun…
Of course once I got over Being Scared that is… LOL!!!
But we also had a lot of fun Shooting it
The WHOLE week it had been STORMY and VERY GLOOMY!!!
And we had been Praying that we would at least get ONE day of sunshine….
I had a Deadline that I needed to meet and not to mention my husband would soon have to go back to work
And I was needing some Extra pair of hands for this Project…
We hauled over 100 pounds of Lemons to the photo shoot site..
The Sun was HIGH and EXTREMELY bright this day…. Not to mention HOT!!!
But we were so VERY Blessed because the following day was Drizzling and Gloomy ONCE again

made my job so VERY easy
And…
It brought the Apron I designed to life…
