I am a bit behind on picture taking… But here is some of what was going on the last couple of days…
The Cabinet on the Left was Solely painted with Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint Old White.
Because it was Raw Wood I ended up putting 3 coats of paint on…. Which I was surprised I got 3 coats out of that Little Can with some left over…
On the other cabinet I wanted to see if it would make a difference on the amount of paint used or needed if the Wood was Primed…
I can’t say I noticed any significant difference… But what I did notice was I was a bit more GENEROUS with the paint…. It must have been a Mental thing… Because on the First cabinet that was Raw wood I was not as Generous and I made sure to SPREAD the Paint until I couldn’t Spread anymore… I can’t say I did the same thing on the Primed cabinet… 
We hope to be done with the Bulk of things by this weekend so I hope to be able to show you the WHOLE room VERY SOON!!!!
They look great! I just did a little cabinet painting myself. I haven’t used the chalk paint yet. I’m always behind the curve…

I have done the same thing. You have to be generous with this paint. On the other hand you can be very stingy if you prefer to get the distressed look. Looking forward to the reveal. Smiles..Renee

Oh, you are working so hard! I can’t wait to see it done. What fun you will have filling those shelves! Yep, that bare wood is a paint sucker! I thought Annie Sloan paint was supposed to cover everything in one coat?
