For those of you who have been following my blog, new that we were expecting another Sweet baby into our family.
And, you also know that my pregnancies are anything but easy. I have what is called Hyperemesis Gravidarum
I wrote a brief summary of my story Here
The day that my Pic Line (feeding tube ) came out and I could see the light at the end of the tunnel was a day that I will always remember the relief and joy that came over me, even though I was still sick the severity of it was daily decreasing and that was the greatest Blessing for me at that time.
Then we had the Blessing of finding out that we were going to be having a baby girl! What an exciting day for the whole family. We were all able to be present, me, my husband and the children when the wonderful news was announced. It was certainly a day to celebrate so we went out and enjoyed a nice Lunch together as a family, with everyone grinning from ear to ear.
Time marched on and I couldn’t believe that I was quickly approaching my due date ( 11-19-12 ). I was having contractions on a daily basis about two weeks prior, but nothing to indicate that labor was on the horizon. My due date came and went and I actually made it to the last scheduled doctors appointment, which everyone in the office was surprised to even see us there. We didn’t make any big plans for Thanksgiving knowing that we would either be on are way to the hospital, in the hospital or coming home from the hospital.
And that’s just what happened.
I woke up the morning before Thanksgiving feeling the same as any other day. I went to the restroom and there was the faintest sign of bloody show, I knew that I would either be going into labor later that night or the following day.
I called my husband at work to let him know and he came home early, for fear he might be stuck at work and he gets the call that my water broke.
I knew there were some last minute things I needed to get done so I ran some errands, Target being one of those places I needed to get the boys some new sheets for their beds ( you can see them there on the counter ) Now tell me is getting new sheets an URGENT need!! No, I just felt like I had to get them now or never
My hair was a complete mess so I was able to shower and wash my hair once I got back home. It was about 12:00 in the afternoon at this time and my husband was snapping these last minute shots of me before the baby belly would no longer be there.
( bitter sweet moment )
I was having some contractions, that were not regular or very strong. We all went about making sure all the last minute items were taken care of and then the children went outside to play. Around 4:00 my contractions were now noticeably coming about 4-5 minutes apart I told my husband that he should probably have the children come in and shower and he let me know that he was already steps ahead of me, I think he could sense the need to get going. We were out the door by 5:00 and heading towards the hospital which is thankfully only 15min away. However we completely forgot that it was the day before Thanksgiving and didn’t take into account the traffic on the freeway. So we took the normal route we always do not thinking we should have taken the side roads. We turn onto the on ramp for the highway and are met with a WALL of RED brake lights, both my husband and I look at each other knowing that this could take a VERY long time.. My thoughts were I am going to end up on the news, “Women Gives Birth on Side of Highway” but Praise the Lord that Sea of Red lights amazingly moved and we made it to the hospital in no time.
I went to Triage to let them know why I was here, while my husband and children were down stairs getting the paper work needed to be admitted. I am not sure if they believed I was in labor because they sat us in the waiting room while we waited for a nurse to call me back. Maybe it was because I was laughing and smiling with the nurses : ) Well the triage nurse checked me and I was a Surprisingly 8 Centimeters Dilated, she quickly got on the phone to my doctor to let him know I was able to walk myself back to the Labor and Delivery room and they proceeded to get me all plugged in, Belly Monitor, I.V., Blood Pressure Monitor. It was now 6:30 and the Doctor had just arrived he checked me and I was now 9 centimeters with a bulging water bag he went ahead and ruptured it. I knew at this moment we would be meeting are baby girl withing moments. The doctor and nurses left and gave me instructions to push the Nurse button if I have any sensations of pressure. I had one contraction and felt some pressure and thought I should ring the Nurse, by the time I rang the Nurse and told her what I was feeling another contraction came and I cold feel her head coming out then her shoulders finally the rest of her body. My husband and Daughter say all they remember is me closing my eyes and all of a sudden they see this little body under the blanket moving around. The nurse came in said she was going to check me and I said, “She’s Here” she looked down at the blanket and then after that I just remember the room erupting with Panic as the Nurses and Doctor scrambled to figure out what just happened as well as try to get things set up.
The time was 7:04
When we got to meet our Sweet Baby Girl.
And to say we are Absolutely in LOVE with her would be and understatement.
My Labors are truly a Labor of Love.
I Labor in the beginning of my pregnancies with the Extreme Morning Sickness.
But,
the end result is so VERY worth it. And we feel so very Blessed to have yet another little life gifted to us to pour and shower Love on.
Not to mention being able to Nibble on those,
I spent my Thanksgiving in the hospital with this Sweet bundle of joy but Thankfully was discharged at 7:04 Thanksgiving evening.
Blessings,
Angelina

HELLO!!!Quinn.. I am actually sitting here feeding and burping her right now
Char’Lee has been chomping at the bit to sit down to right Hannah a letter to let her know ALL about her experience with seeing her sister born, well almost seeing
She just got to see her wiggling underneath the blanket
The Lord surely has been Grace(ious) to us and we feel so very blessed to have her in our lives. I am very much enjoying that SWEET SWEET baby smell
thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
I just know that Hannah will be very eager to get that letter
I won’t be able to wait to share the good news though and the sweet pictures tomorrow morning when she wakes up. Hannah LOVES the babies (she’s teasing me already looking for another sibling of her own on the way!) How wonderful that Char’Lee was able to be there when her baby sister came into the world!Congratulations again

Quinn recently posted..~A Hostile Turkey~
Hannah and Char’Lee have a lot in common it seems. Char’Lee was following me around for the last couple of weeks, asking how I was feeling and if I was having any contractions or had my water broken yet!! She was so very eager to meet her baby sister and she stood in the hospital room and CRIED the moment the nurse pulled back the blanket and she saw her baby sister..
She was also there when Benjamin was born and Cried just the same
Now every morning she ask when can she hold her
The letter will be on it’s way shortly.
Oh my goodness what a beautiful blessing she is. I am so happy for you and your wonderful family! We will have to get together again soon!
Take care,
Jackie
Thank you so much Jackie. Yes we will certainly have to get together

Hello Sweet Angelina and Baby Eloise Grace…
Congratulations Angelina and Welcome Eloise!
Love love love quick births and labors… Have that pain over and done with and have my little ones in my arms.
I truly truly understand how you feel the need to buy sheets right before labor!
I actually started saying my to do list out loud while I was in my labor… just to get the contractions to get stronger and STAY. (they kept getting lesser and lesser and I was worried my midwife would leave!)
Because I kept reciting my to do list over and over I suddenly knew it was TIME.
15 min. later I had my little girl in my arms.
Hooray! for sweet little babies and their chubby little legs and cute toes and fingers.
And pink precious lips.
Blessing to your Growing Family… God Blessed you with another child!
And all the pain and everything is just sooooo worth it.
Hugs,
Sandy
P.s. – just have to tell you how stupid I feel right now for starting about the Vintage Marketplace.
When I got your e-mail I felt so bad that I realized I must have missed a very very very important and precious post. This one! TVM can wait… Maybe till next time…

Oh, the story of your beautiful baby’s birth brought tears to my eyes. She is just gorgeous! I also clicked on the link regarding your morning, noon and night sickness and it was very eye opening. My son, an only child, is now 15 years old. When I was pregnant with him, I was very very sick for the first 5 1/2 months-I lost 13 pounds during that time. I had to be hospitalized and was very depressed. I was a thorn in my Ob/gyn’s side-he even told me that I probably didn’t want to have a baby and that is why I was so ill. (I’d fire him if I had to do it all over again! ) Anyway, I went on to have a 10 pound 1 ounce very healthy baby so he must have been getting some nutrition from me. Anyway, I decided then that I would not be having any more children because of the “morning” sickness. This is sad because I really love children. I wish I had more support back then because my life may have been different. Again, congratulations on your new beautiful Eloise Grace!
Thank you Meghan, you know there is still little understanding out there about HG. Many Ob’s still don’t know how to recognize it or treat it. I am just so very thankful to the Lord that He has seen me through each pregnancy. It is by far an easy thing to go through. We are enjoying are precious gift and are so thankful for her Sweet little life. Thank you for sharing your experience as well. Have a great week!
The first thought in my head when I started reading this post: “Why, she should be wearing those lovely Pink boots!”. Just a sense…or the Holy Ghost made me think the baby was a Little Miss! And, she is a Perfect Gift from Him. Ruby, it seems that you do “everything” beautifully!
“Welcome Eloise Grace! So happy you are here.”
Oh, thank you so much. We are certainly in Love with her:) How are you doing?
Thanks for asking. I was finally able to travel to Ark. to see my Mom the week before Thanksgiving. That was wonderful! I returned happy, but very fatigued. Last Fri., I found out that I have ovarian cancer. The last 3 days have been difficult, but I try to keep myself focused on Him and not the fear that seems to be always present. I’ll be undergoing more tests this week and am scheduled for a complete hysterectomy on 12-14. It will be a big surgery and I will be in the hospital on Christmas. I would appreciate your prayers.
You have a Merry Christmas! It will be even more precious with a newborn.
