Diy Winter Ribbon Sash

I recently made a Fall Ribbon Sash and had plans on making a Winter one that I would share here on my blog.

You will want a variety of Ribbons and some felt in the color that is most dominant. Draw and cut out your shape that is to your liking, I typically do something that resembles a peanut.

Use embellishments that fit the season or occasion you are making your sash for.

Make several different types of flowers out of your ribbons (here are some examples of flowers I made for the fall sash), they don’t have to be perfect and should be made in a variety of sizes. Begin playing around with placement of your flowers and embellishments and when you are satisfied with your look, use your hot glue gun to secure everything in it’s place. ( This will take a lot of glue for the heavier pieces )

I cut two strips of red satin fabric (roughly) 2.5 wide. I left my edges raw. Hot glue each strip to the back sides of your sash.

So very simple and yet will add such a Beautiful touch to any Holiday decor.

May your Winter and Holiday Season be a Blessed one!

Blessings,

Angelina
