So you were a BIG hit at your dinner party with your Mock Bow Tie.
And you made such a Lasting impression that you have been invited back again. Only thing is you cant wear the same thing again, that would simply be Unthinkable. Time is short and you look and notice you have some Charcoal colored felt left, from a previous project. So you run to your little man’s dresser and find a shirt that fits him, stuff the sleeves inside and trace out the shape of a Vest.
Do you think you can pull it off again. You certainly hope so!! Because that Lasagna was delicious and the Chocolate Cake was, “OUT of this World”….
I traced the shape of his T-shirt and then drew a template for the front and back piece using a straight ruler.
I sewed my right sides together and the Top shoulders and sides. I put some faux pockets on and a felt heart. It took me about 15 min to complete.
I hot glued some buttons on. I threw a RED one in the mix and LOVE how it came out. Not so bad looking for Felt, Huh!!
So let’s just hope we can make another GREAT impression. If so I wonder what he’ll wear next. What do you think it should be?
