I love projects that get you thinking outside the box. Or in this case using the box. {he,he,he}
We actually cloth diaper but since we have had so much going on these last couple months we have resorted to the good of fashioned disposable diapers. So, if you like me are still in the diaper stage you have A LOT of these Pretty boxes hanging around the house.
I got to thinking that I could put them to good use, instead of watching them Pile up in the dumpster. Since Spring is right around the corner and my mind is on all things Springy I thought how perfect would this box be to make, Bunny Ears!!
So here’s what I did!
I broke the box a part ( actually my son did, LOL!! ) and then I drew out the top of a Bunnies Ears and Puffy Cheeks! I traced my pattern onto the cardboard and then cut it out.
I painted my Bunny Ears with a first coat of paint and let that dry.
I then did a second coat of paint and while it was still wet I sprinkled it with lots of glitter. Using the tip of my scissors I pierced a small whole on each side of the cheek area.
Using a thin elastic I put it through the wholes and tied knots at the ends.
Aren’t these little bunny ears, just so CUTE!!
They kind of remind me of something that the Flappers might wear to a Spring Party!
We had a lot of fun making these and I think we will be coming up with some more Diaper Box creations!
So go ahead and break those Diaper Boxes apart and make yourself some Sparkling Bunny Ears!!!

Have fun making some Bunny Ears 
I LOVE this. Repurposing and upcycling is sooo fun. The challenge of taking junk and making it great is one of my favorite things.
