Diy Spring Flower Clip

Daisies!

Is is just me or do they just encompass what Spring is all about. Sweet, Gentle, Delicate, Colorful and Playful. I Love Daisy’s Real or Fake, they just seem to always make me smile.

So how about we make some Simple Daisy Flowers today!

First draw a basic Daisy Flower for you pattern and cut it out. Place it on top of your fabric

( I used felt because it is Stiff and will give the flowers some body ).

Place your pattern on top of your felt and pin in place. Cut out two pieces.

Take your Daisies and place one on top of the other, off centering your petals for depth. Put a dab of glue in the center and glue in place. Cut out a circle in coordinating fabric and glue in the center of your Daisy.

Taking an alligator clip, place some glue on the back and adhere to the back of your flower. And there you have it, Simple as that!

These would make great accessories or even gifts to give away. So have some fun and get creative making your Spring Daisy Flowers.

I found your blog through “At the picket fence” looking at your felt necklace tutorial. Would you mind me asking what kind of felt did you use for the clip. I would love to make something like this for my daughter.

    Thank you!

      Hello Megan,
I just want to make sure I am understanding you correctly :) Do you mean the part where the Flowers are attached ( the u shape ) I just used ordinary felt from Joann’s I bought the little more expensive one but you could also use the cheaper one as well. I have used the cheaper one for many projects ;) I hope that helps and if by any chance I didn’t answer your question please let me know :) Have fun making your necklace.
